Sometimes finding our way forward means giving ourselves a change of scenery — putting ourselves at a different angle to the work than we've been.
This could mean working in a different room of the house or in a different location. It could mean going for a walk and not thinking about the work for a while. It could mean washing the dishes by hand or digging your hands in the dirt with a bit of gardening — using your mind and body in a different way so that your subconscious can work on the questions you're holding in the background.
Do you ever change the scenery on your creative work? What has that looked like for you, and how has it helped?
